Genelec release the new 6010A & 5040
Take your first step into the world of Professional Audio with the new Genelec 6010A & 5040A active speakers.
The 6010A is an extremely versatile and compact two way active loudspeaker system that has been designed for computer sound systems, work stations and other close proximity listening applications. It can even be plugged directly into personal music players.
Its small size, amazing sound quality and rugged construction make the 6010A an ideal portable sound system for both professional and home users.
The Genelec 5040A active subwoofer is designed to compliment up to five 6010A’s with accurate and dynamic bass response reaching down to 35hz. Matched perfectly with the 6010A’s, the 5040A features a remote volume control allowing adjustment of the entire sound system as well as versatile acoustic controls for perfect room integration.
A stereo pair of 6010A’s is capable of peak output sound pressure levels in excess of 102dB at 1meter distance. Frequency response extends from 74hz to 18khz with less than +/- 2.5dB deviation. Every 6010A is individually calibrated and tested to this stringent specification after assembly at the Genelec factory in Finland.
