Almost every room suffers from some sort of acoustical problem, whether it be a large auditorium, vocal booth, studio control room, home cinema, etc... Excessive reverberation can mask speech and music, making them unintelligible; standing waves can make certain bass notes seem to jump out of a mix, while others seem to disappear. Given that the subject of acoustics is something of a "black art", these issues are often difficult to pin down, and the solutions can sometimes seem counter-intuitive.
Using a variety of methods, we can measure exactly how your room behaves, and help pin-point any problem areas. We can help position your speakers and other equipment to reduce any negative effects, calibrate your speakers for their position in the room, and advise on types & placement of acoustic treatment to remedy any other problems.
